About Dr. Ellie Miller

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist originally from Louisville, KY. I earned my undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and completed my Master’s and Doctorate degrees at Spalding University in Louisville, KY. My desire to help others navigate difficult times has been a lifelong passion. I find immense satisfaction in celebrating with people as they overcome hurdles and achieve their goals. My clinical training has given me the opportunity to support others through their difficulties, providing effective treatment to minimize symptoms and prevent their recurrence.

My Passion

My Passion

I am passionate about helping people manage anxiety and lead lives free from debilitating symptoms. I emphasize psychological assessment as an incredibly effective diagnostic tool that provides objective data regarding an individual’s functioning. This data allows me to offer personalized recommendations and treatment interventions that are most  effective for each client. Psychological assessments offer valuable insights into a person’s unique strengths and challenges in areas such as mood, learning, cognitive abilities, behavior, executive functioning, and personality. I believe that psychological assessment is often the first step in determining the best path forward.

How My Passion Developed

How My Passion Developed

My diverse training experiences have reinforced the power of connection, learning, and growth within a clinical setting. I have trained in various environments, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient practices, and medical centers. In each setting, I recognized the importance of creating a strong therapeutic alliance to reinforce specific skills. I also discovered that psychological assessment is a crucial component of treatment, providing a framework for understanding an individual’s functioning and making interventions more streamlined and effective.

I strive to create a supportive and connected environment where my clients can learn and practice new skills to alleviate their symptoms. I present information and data in a user-friendly way, enabling clients to easily implement and integrate these insights into their daily lives. Anxiety does not have to negatively impact your life, and I look forward to walking alongside you as you develop the skills to grow and challenge the anxiety you experience.
