Psychological Assessment Services

Are you a parent feeling stuck with how to best help your child? Does your child appear distractable, forget to complete homework or chores, or need constant reminders for simple daily tasks? Is your child struggling in school with retaining information, feeling frustrated by classwork, or falling behind academically?

Do you experience feelings of low mood, lack of motivation, or feelings of nervousness or worry? Perhaps you struggle to control your emotions, and at times feel like your emotions are in control of you or keep you from living the life you want.

Psychological and Psychoeducational Assessments May Help!

Our psychologists specialize in conducting comprehensive assessments quickly and efficiently to ensure our clients have an overall understanding of their emotional and cognitive functioning. Assessments are useful in determining the most effective treatments, along with providing resources, interventions, and necessary accommodations at school or work.

Our doctors provide comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children and adults, ranging from ages 3-89. We offer one competitive price with sliding scale options, which covers the entirety of the assessment  process. We complete assessments either in the Growth Psychology office or at the  child’s school or adult’s workplace, depending on the needs of the individual.

We Provide Comprehensive Assessments for the Following Areas:

ADHD

At Growth Psychology, we offer comprehensive evaluations to assess for and diagnose Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Based on assessment results, we create recommendations for the client to improve functioning at home, at school, and/or in a work environment. We consult with teachers, therapists, and doctors as needed to facilitate the implementation of recommendations and accommodations based on the diagnosis.

Autism

We offer comprehensive Autism assessment with the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2). The ADOS-2 is considered the gold-standard assessment measure for Autism and provides a reliable, valid diagnosis which allows our psychologists to provide effective treatment recommendations and accommodations.
