Social Anxiety Exposure Groups
Overcoming Social Anxiety Together
Group Therapy for Middle School and High School Students
Social anxiety can feel isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone. At Growth Psychology, we offer specialized group therapy sessions designed specifically for middle school and high school students struggling with social anxiety. Our groups provide a safe and supportive environment where you can learn to manage anxiety, practice social skills, and gain confidence through exposure-based techniques.
Middle School Group: The transition into middle school can be a challenging time, especially for those experiencing social anxiety. Our middle school group focuses on helping students navigate these changes with greater ease. Through guided exposures and peer support, students will practice engaging in social situations that typically cause anxiety, all while receiving encouragement and feedback from both their peers and a licensed psychologist.
High School Group: High school brings new social pressures and expectations that can heighten feelings of social anxiety. Our high school group is tailored to help students face these challenges head-on. By participating in exposure exercises within the group setting, students will learn to challenge their fears, build resilience, and develop strategies for managing anxiety in real-world situations. This group is an opportunity to gain confidence in social settings and foster meaningful connections with others who understand your experience.
